Jaeckel Jacket

I purchased this beautiful jacket and am
looking for information about its origin. I read about Gunther Jaeckel Furs in the label page and wonder if this might be from the company that merged to form Gunther Jaeckel. It feels like wool and is heavily beaded.
Thanks!

I am working my way through a chronological list of references to Jaeckel and this 1938 one may be of interest:

"Jaeckel, Inc., furriers for the last nineteen years at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Forty-fifth Street, announced yesterday they will move next March to a six-story building to be constructed for the special use of the furriers at 8 and 10 East Fifty-seventh Street...under a twenty-one-year lease. This will be the seventh building to be occupied by the concern in seventy-five years, since Hugo Jaeckel founded the firm in 1863..."

Then a Sept. 1948 article reported:

"Two of New York's oldest and best-known stores, C.G Gunther's and Sons and Jaeckel, Inc., have merged it was announced yesterday. Effective Jan. 31, 1950, the jointly owned fur stylist and specialty shop business, which will probably bear the name of Gunther & Jaeckel, will occupy the present Jaeckel premises at 8-10 East Fifty-seventh Street and 9-11 East Fifty-sixth Street..."
