Interesting that it's made in England - I guess because we were making rubber, do you think it was for the British market or export?

That logo with those colors is seen mainly in the early to mid 1960s.

Yes, early 60s. Jantzen had 18 different design studios around the world.

Many thanks for the confirmation - I am correct that they were for scuba diving I take it then? (speaking from my one time experience of snorkling lol)

I have just discovered my local museum's new exhibition is on Swimwear through the ages (that huge Symmington collection I was talking about will finally be visitable!) so I think I will ask if they would like it in their display.
