Jewelry Dating Question

Hi all,

I recently bought this set online and when I got it, it's much nicer than I expected (nice surprise, right?) and has an older feel to me. The black stars are glass like and the silver is sterling. With the screw-backs I figured they were older but now that I have them I'm not sure how old. Any help is appreciated.

I wonder if the pendants were added later to older findings myself. I don't know - something about the size of the bail used just looks too big for the pendant to me.

Good eye! I went back to peek and I think the bail is bigger because it actually allows the star to "swing" from it. In both the necklace and the earrings.

I wonder if the stars could be onyx?

I'm not sure at all. They seem like thick glass to me but they could be onyx.

Justine, what kind of catch does it have and how is it stamped? My first thought was 60's/70's.
