This is the absolute best I can do with photos. I have shown here some that I have some I have more shots of to put in the auctions.

Some ignorant questions from a gal who just doesn't wear a lot of bling!

First is this ruby red and pink brooch on gold ??tone?? What is the cut of the leaves called. Marquis??

Next are this set of matching pins Any thing I can title it as <img src=http://ftp.innernet.net/pcameron/oct/113.jpg>
    Under a magnifing glass

Next is this Monet am guessing 80's Does it have an art deco look to you?

Now the biggie: This is quite old and plastic. Not bakelite it probably could be bent its such a soft plastic. When I put it under hot water it has an odor but what ever that odor is I kinda liked it.

Stamped on the back is Sazrbk Ck W Trieste Vorby R. Nor 225 275.
It is actually a much darker red than these photos.

  2. Pretty, shiny thangs! I love the red, marquis stones! The clear-rhinestone set jump out as something that might look good adorning both sides of a collar, to me. The enamel and stones one does look deco and 80s to me, and reminds me a lot of the then-very-hot "1928" company's costume jewelry.

I'm not very experienced with jewelry Pauline (well, other than
wearing it! :) ) I do know the first stones are marquis shaped. I'll be interested in seeing some of your replies to this, as I have a
bow brooch identical to your red plastic one.

well I wrote up the bow one and just listed all that I could read on the back What I quoted was what was written by the previous owner. Apparently not only didn't he know the difference between tin and plastic but he couldn't read either. That one word is Horby not Vorby and there were some other words wrong. It took me all day to find where I laid the magnifing glass to read it.

Oh and does anyone know the correct spelling Marquise or Marquis?
