Jewelry Mavens? AB Disc Brooch? or?

What does the back look like? And is the reverse side of the stone flat or faceted? That will determine what we call them. :)

Your center stone is a margarita cut, and in all probability a Swarovski -- but really need to see the back (something you'll always want to include when showing pics of any jewelry piece :) ).

OT, but laura your avatar just SLAYS me!!!!

that textured back is a 60's finish, i'd say...

a couple years ago i had a Christmas tree pin made of marguerite cut ABs and it made some good $$$...good luck beth!!

On Fleabay, one can't add Swarovski to the title (since it's VERO) unless the piece itself is Swarovski (which I don't believe this is) and then you have to prove it -- by either mark or style description (and the latter often gets pulled anyway, by reporters that don't know).

You can add Swarovski crystal in your description, as they relate to the stones only, and would also qualify it with a 'possibly', 'most likely' etc. You may want to include 'vintage 60's' in your title as well.

honestly, i'd just pop in into Etsy at a nice price, esp since it only has a center marguerite, and its a round shape...i think the tree did so well because it was a tree, ya know ~

Hi,
All pic are really awesome! I'm pretty sure vintage means it is in the fashion of an antique ring but it is really new. Whereas an antique ring was actually made in an older time period.

Thanks.

"Vintage Inspired" would be a modern piece that is inpired by an older style or era. "Vintage" does not mean "new"....

Just had an unfortunate incident with a buyer who thought vintage meant "new"....

:lalala:

Gals (and Jonathan) - Is the term vintage used more with clothing and antique used more with furniture, clocks, etc? Are the terms interchangeable??
