Jocks and Nerds: Men's style in the Twentieth century by Richard Martin 1990

Has anyone read or owns this book? It looks interesting but there are no reviews and not much detail online. I'd like to know if it's worth paying the ££ to get a copy.

There was a Nerds and Jocks exhibit at FIT in the early 1990s when I was there....I wonder if it is the same? If so--it was a very good exhibit.

I looked through the book when it was for sale originally and didn't buy it. I remember it was expensive at the time, and I also seem to recall it was typical Richard Martin rhetoric - mostly about the psychology of dress blah blah blah... not my cup of tea.
