Hi lovely people!

I thrifted this pinstripe jumpsuit but after checking the web cant find any resource about it.

Maybe someone here knows a little knowledge about this item. Posted the tag, zipper and some of its seam sewing.

Not sure if the date on the back of the zipper indicates its date. What do u guys think?

thanks in advance!

Hi Yahiko, These overalls do look as though they have some age to them. I am unfamiliar with that flash zipper. Are there any markings on the overall fasteners.

There is a Canadian manufacturing business out of Winnipeg, Manitoba that was called
Monarch Overall Manufacturing Company. It made men’s and boy’s clothing and overalls. The firm later became Monarch Wear of Canada, one of Canada's largest producers of pants.

There is a good article about the company in the 1960s in the Winnipeg Free Press, it looks like the company closed in 1976.
