Just 2 more - labels help, please

Just curious if anyone is familar with w/either of these labels.

I don't have pics of the garments yet - just doin' some homework.

This label is on super cute shirtwaist dress. Pretty sure it's 60's. I'm very familar with Dan River fabrics, but not this label.

When I was young, we took road trips every summer & my mom's favorite thing was to go to the Dan River Fabric Mills stores in the Carolinas.

Beautiful palette - horrid cheap-feeling acetate fabric.
Even the label looks cheap. The belt backing is plastic & it is super stiff & makes crackley noises. I'm thinking I just may throw it & the dress in a cold water soak for a few days.

We have this on the Label Resource, but it's credited to a mid-60s dress.

My dress is a Wiggle Dress which I always thought of as being indicative of the 50's. But I was looking at "Mad Men' stuff today & I think that's the keyword the dress would fit. I only posted the label 'cause I was confused and because this image may be a bit more clear han the current one.

I'm sorry Leisa, I couldn't find anything on those first two.

It looks like the 55-63 ILGWU label in the corner of your Crystal label shot. Maybe the label was used from the 50s into the 60s.

Leisa, can't help, either, on the first two. I'd definitely go by the Union label, because that David Crystal label did seem to be used for a number of years.

It is the 55-63 union label. I was just hoping someone had run into one of these vendors at some point in their vintage travels. Maybe one of my facebook pals...? I'll try there.

Hi Leisa, I guess I'm confused about what you were asking on the David Crystal? I have had dresses and a coat that date from the mid 60s all the way up to the early 70s and carry that particular DC label. So if you have a dress you think is 60s and not 50s, and carries that label, then I'm sure you are correct.

I need to press the D. Crystal dress. At first look, I thought 50's, but it really fits perfectly with all the Mad Men stuff I've been perusing, so I'm going with early 60's - I think. LOL!

I'll post pics of all of these later this week.
