Just a General Question

HELLO ALL :hiya:

I was going through my modest stash of 'vintage' clothing recently and I got to thinking that maybe most of my items are more 'retro' than 'vintage'.

I thought 'retro' is 1970's to early 1980's and 'vintage' pre 1969.

Could someone please educate me? :help:

There is no hard and fast rule about this as far as I know, however, it was discussed here and the general consensus was that antique was older than a lifetime (75 years), vintage was older than a generation (25 years) and anything newer than vintage was retro.
