Just verifying the dating of this dress...

White with red polka dots, three tiered, old kind of metal side zipper (I believe it is steel) with the thing on the zipper that locks it down, rather large belt loops, missing its belt, and is 45 inches long with a one inch hem. Is this early 50's? or is it late 40's?

there is a remnant of the old kind of small paper tag still attached but all wording is long gone from it. Waist is just under 28 inches, shoulder to waist is 16 inches. It had been hemmed once to 42 inches in length but I let that hem back down to its original length of 45 inches.
