i just wondered if anyone had any info on this label? I have 2 full skirted hawaiian dresses (exact same cut, although one has sadly been altered a fair bit) and they are really nicely made and finished but i can't seem to find out much(anything) about the company.

will try and take some pictures later - afraid my little boy has been off school which has put me WAY behind in the photography stakes, but back to normal tomorrow!

never mind chris! :)

ok - back to normal school run today thank goodness.. here's my dress (which has been waiting patiently for 2 years in my wardrobe for me to be invited to a summer wedding.. finally gets let loose in June!):

As you can hopefully see - 3d flowers backed in pale pink and set with prong set rhinestones going over the boned bust and up the strap, and it's a really nice weight glazed cotton. Skirt is not quite a full circle, good 3" hem, lined. Should have a fuller bust in there really but you get the idea.

And here is it's sister - this is actually the same design dress, but would have been harder to work out the alterations that have taken place if i didn't already own my version! See what's happened?

They've used the sash to make wide straps, and also (unseen) widen the dress across the back to give it a few extra inches. Also the hem has been let down, so it's a good bit longer.

I just wondered about the label - still no luck with me either. I should go and get a hawaiiana book out anyway as I blush to admit I've never read one, although i'm sure that not it's a particularly 'big' name so may not get a mention.

Pretty dresses though, I thought!

Unfortunately, I can't help with the labels, but I wanted to say they're beeeeoooootiful!!! So feminine. And the pics are great!!!

Thanks Deborah! I just wish I could get to grips with a tripod.. I know some of them are a bit blurry, but I'm so clumbsy that I always end up tripping over it and daren't leave it up for long and don't use it when I really should. My long suffering husband has agreed to take some pictures for me, as he is far more happy to involve himself with equipment in a calm and orderly fashion (I just get mad and give up!)

I'm sure I'll find out something at some point about the label!

Harriet, these are both smashing! Even with the alterations, the other one is still marvelous--especially with those pretty floral colors. Though one can't see the fine detail in that, it looks as if the alterations were done pretty well.

And the photos are lovely!

They look fabulous, Harriet! And your other dresses are doing so well!!
