Kenzo suit - ?

I'd just like to know if this is early 80s before I list and include label in the resource. The skirt is high wasted. The jacket does not have shoulder pads - arms are not stitched separately, they are cut with the bodice (hope that makes sense, as I don't know proper terminology). Label is similar to the 80s in the resource, but different colouring.

I have a handy little chart from an old sewing book, showing dollman and kimono sleeves having no seems....although dollman usually has more fabric below the pits.

I don't want to speculate on age, although it's surely 80s to 90s/modern...didn't pay much attention to fash in those days.

Nice wrap treatment on the jacket, and also nice that the plaid lines match up.
 
Gosh, I'm not sure on my later stuff (well I'm not concrete on anything but 80s is probably my worst - ironic really, being as it's the first decade I remember all of!)

Off the bat I would have gone for early 90s with the tartan but then if it is more of a punk tartan thing then yes early 80s..Hmm. Maybe wait for someone else! I haven't looked at the resource though as you would think a similar label would be a more likely time frame.

Doesn't dolman have a stitch from armpit directly to neckline? Or am I thinkin' of raglan - will go check my book. I just found this unusual because there is no separate stiching for arm.

The label in the resource that is similar to this is for a mans sweater and says: Kenzo Homme

Well, Harriet, I'm not great with any decade! :D
