You're very welcome. And thanks for reading. I'm going through this phase where I don't know if I should continue with the effort on the blog, so you totally made my day.

I did not bid. Did anyone? Maybe prices went high because it's for charity. I was just sent the closing press release. I'll see what they say.

In a packed saleroom today, people eagerly bid on exciting celebrity-owned and designer dresses, donated by Topshop, and sold in aid of Help the Aged and Age Concern.

Some of the top-selling lots were Scarlett Johansson’s dress, lot 25, which sold for £550, Kate Moss’ Lanvin dress, lot 14, which sold for 500, Dita von Teese’s Jayson Brundson dress, lot 5, which sold for £400, and Freida Pinto’s Burberry chiffon cocktail dress, lot 9, which was sold for £380.

Kerry Taylor, auctioneer, said ‘It was interesting to see that Scarlett was more popular than Kate on the day!’
