with the demise of boho maybe this isn't the best time to list such things but i am on a rail clearing mission in no particular order!

how would i describe this? tunic? overthing? not mention sienna? :)
it's entirely handstitched, relatively modern (i'm guesstimating 70s but as home tailored could be later) in synthetic fabric. single frog closure at bust, open slits at sides, bell sleeves.

i quite like it - but am i alone? :D

all opinions/help welcomed!

I think it has a 30's look to it, maybe you could try " 70's bohemian tunic 30's style" or "70's art nouveau bohemian duster tunic" ( would all that fit? hehehe). It would look great worn with a black scarf around your hair.

How about: Mandarin-style brocade evening coat with Edwardian influence.

I had help with this. I thought Edwardian because of the fabric and I went to one of my favorite sites and lo and behold they had a Mandarin-style silk brocade evening coat - different fabric but almost the same style as yours and longer.

Hope this helps.

I agree with the last post completely, Bohemian is special and rare, boho is not!
Funny how a word can make me angry!

This is really nice, Harriet! Interesting in that it could well be the formal evening coat, or the slightly-off-center everyday style of a free (Bohemian) spirit.... I do like the KW nouveau & brocade. "True Bohemian Nouveau-Styled Brocade Coat."
