kiki byrne and gina fratini label

Noticed there is no mention of Kiki Byrne in the resource - I have this label in a 60's jacket. I'll try and take a good picure of the jacket asap, but shan't inflict unlit snaps on you just now.. it's a green and white leatherette jacket with tartan lining. I know they both worked together as costume designers in 1966, but have never managed to find out anything about a clothing line from the pair.



any ideas? thanks!!:)
 
Harriet, I did a search on Google and Vivisimo and found quite bit on
Kiki Byrne, but nothing on the two of them together.

and am i in the right ball park with 1967 ish (give or take 5 years, lol!) - am still trying to work out when they would have been working together.
 
That does <I>look</i> 60s, I vaguely remember that jacket turning up on ebay before and being perplexed by the assocation!

The V&A were recently asking for a Kiki Byrne dress for an upcoming 60s exhibition, I wasn't really aware of who she was until I read that. Apparently her boutique was on the Kings Road and called Glass and Black.
 
yes - i bought this from ebay out of curiosity!! i saw the same ad on the v and a website.. i'd never heard of the boutique either, but there seems to be pretty limited information out there about it.
