I found a dress a few months back that I absolutely adore. It has two labels inside. One reads Irwin's Daytona Beach, which I'm assuming is the shop is was bought from and the other reads Killi Hart New York. Anyone heard of either of these? Thanks!

The name Kiki Hart rings a bell, not Killi though. Could t be a weird script?

Do you have a quick picture of the label incase it jogs my memory(or anyone elses)? And the dress sounds lovely too, would love to see! :)

I have an Irwin's dress right now. It's a 50s blue cotton with jacket. I just found this in a Google search:

from a 1942 POlk Co Mass Directory:
Irwin's (Daytona Beach, Fla) Mrs Irwin Morrison mgr Women's wear Lexington av Magnolia

Hollis

I'm leaving for Pittsburgh early tomorrow so I will post pictures when I get back and have time to find the battery charger for my digital camera. I'm always misplacing that stupid thing.

As it turns out I didn't go to Pittsburgh today. As it also turns out the dress is a Kiki Hart not a Killi Hart as you can see from the label the second K looks like to L's.

There are more pictures of the dress here in my photobucket account. If you want to take a better look at it. Try to ignore the quality. I had to have my grandmother help me photograph the dress with her little digital since I still can't find the spare battery or charger for mine.

Craph I forgot to mention. There is a scarf or belt that goes with this dress that is not pictured It's made out of the same sheer material as the layering on the skirt.
