Kimono? Breakfast Jacket? Man or Woman?

Found this lovely kimono? Read somewhere possibly called a breakfast or morning jacket?

Pretty sure was purchased during Korean War.

Is it a ladies? Has roses.

Mainly need type of fabric? Faille? I tried to determine with the fabulous fabric resource here on VFG but fabric flat is confusing to me.

Spots that may need to be cleaned so need this info if possible.

It is larger then I am or it would not be listed.

Really nice feeling fabric and feel on. A bit heavy.

With the roses, I think you can say it's a woman's. And it looks like a heavy crepe to me rather than faille, which doesn't drape this well. I believe this a haori:

Interesting. I have another one that is very brightly floral design that has ties inside like the description in your link possibly.

It is almost finished with the sewing basting stitches so I wonder as I found the 2 together if custom made?

Thank you. I imagine this soldier had them made for his female partner at the time.

I wear the modern ones similar to this that is popular is why I picked them up.
