Kim\'s Knitwear Label

I have a sweater set of this knit wear brand and I was curious about it's value-I checked the vintage fashion guild page and the label reflects the late 1940's example:

It looks exactly like the tag but it does not have the "R" beside the "KIMS" quotation-does that mean anything significant?

It could mean that your label predates the example in the resource, and was made before the name was registered.

Re: values, I'm afraid that we don't do appraisals here but if you post photos of the item we can help with dating and other advice.

The collar is decorated with rhinestones, beads and (faux) pearls has a couple of stiched up places but the skirt is in perfect condition.

I like your model - nice styling. I think your suit is '50s, early '50s.
