Knit Hat With Pailettes

I remember the era. About 1954. Knitted hats. Cute knitted hats. I remember a knitted green hat for women with a tad of angora on the very top "point" and colored "tear shaped" pailettes sewn at intervals all over the hat. Anyone else recall the knit hats that were fun, a little baggy, and not the type that made us look like baby harp seals ? (nothing wrong with harp seals). I remember BIG sequins on sweaters and hats, too. I want that stuff back. :excited:

Thank you for the pictures, and comments. I love angora because it's cruelty free. It was fun being a little girl. I recall leggings, and hats. And, of course the ubiquitous snow suit with ultra headgear. :excited:
