Knox Men\'s Hat (Need Info)

So I just bought this hat at a sale for 8 dollars. It's definitely an old hat but I don't know much about what type of hat it is and I don't have a general idea of how much it's worth. It appears to have a fino fino weave though. Here are some photos of the hat:

Hi,

I agree with Nicole...more modern....it is nicely made, with a fine Panama weave but I don't see the little top point/bump that indicates a true Panama. It could well be but I cannot be sure from the photo.

Nice hat, the hatband is what really makes it look very modern/recent. Older vintage straws have different bands.

What kind of sweatband does it have, is it leather? and what does it say on the sweatband?

Yeah it probably is more modern now that I think about it. The sweatband is leather and has KNOX stamped on the one side and a faded stamp for what looks like the Hatterie. I may sell it, so I'm just wondering what it may be worth.
 
Hi,

Worth is sort of what the market is willing to pay...and it depends greatly on the head size. With mens' hats If it is a large head size, the worth and price rises...and small size tends to not sell too quickly and is worth much less.

Can you measure the inside cuircumference? Or is marked with a size inside?

Looks like a 7 1/2. Any idea what style it may be? Also I checked out online and it looks like Knox made their very last hats in the very early 80's before they went out of business.
