Krizia Maglia - is this top vintage

I have this little silk knit top that I originally thought was vintage, but am now doubting my initial hunch. The closest thing I found was this cardigan, which has the same label, and is being sold new with tags, so odds are it’s not very old:

A lot of the websites selling Krizia Maglia items with a similar label in Asia, which makes me think the stuff is from post 2014 (when the Chinese bought Krizia).

What do you think?

The Label Resource doesn’t have this label, so if it is vintage, I’ll certainly add it.

Usually, if the garment is older than late 80s or 90s, there would not be a care tag. Now this is not true 100% of the time, as I have seen basic care tags on some of my vintage garments. It looks to me to be modern reproduction.

It looks 80’s to me judging by the main label on the font. I have had a few Krizia Maglia vintage tops (the animal graphic tops were huge and are still collectible today)

Though the style seems to be more reminiscent of 60’s-70’s.

could you show a picture of the back of the care label?

Here’s a pic of the reverse of the care tag and another one of the cut off code number tag under the care tag.

***rewind! I just noticed the ‘tumble cool’ writing on the care label…. Does anyone have a link to the fantastic chart with care labels introductions and their timelines?

I’m unsure if the written instruction places this more firmly after the 80’s, and yes perhaps much more modern.

the care label has me confused as it’s at odds with the nape label. Maybe they have reissued the nape label ‍♀️

I’d love to add it to the Label Resource, but I don’t think we’ve reached a consensus as to the decade. Personally, I’m not convinced it’s not recent, post Chinese buyout.

We don't have this label in our label resource on Krizia.
It looks 90s or Y2K to me with that care label.

If you could add the label that would be great.

Just scroll down the page below, you can add it there.
