here are some items l've acquired this week

a victorian? skirt quilted towards hem...some worn bits on the hemline otehrwise fair condition for age...Lei can you tell me anythingr elevant about it or not so relevant?

a kids dress..any date?

prom type dress four layers to skirt....date early 50's?? the blue shiny metal lines in skirt..how do l iron this??? and the satin straps are a little worn and coming away? should l take and have it fixed or leave it....?? its not often l find a load that stumps me but narly everything is this batch l have questions about!!

a pink soft prom style dress with butterfly applique....? date again...same??

and this dress..a bit wierd 80's...but the fabric is stretchy and isnt hemmed or sticthed is just cut and doesnt fray unusual l thought...great bodice detail hope you can see it ok!!

Definitely 19th century for the quilted petticoat. Hard to say and exact date without examing it though as these were worn right through the Victorian era during the winter for warmth. Is it machine sewing or hand sewing? With just seeing the photos, going by the general shape and style of it, I'd say it was probably 1880's- 1890's though.

Those are great finds, Sara! Not very good in dating pre 60s, but I think the middle two do look very 50s - love the pink. And you may be in the 90s for the last one, but ???
