I was just wondering if any of you could tie down the age of this label from a pair of stocking by Kunnert going by the design.

And a link to a larger photo ( big file)

I tell you the rest of the story once I have a idea of ago .

Thank you Paul

Thanks Pauline - it looks like one of the early to mid '30s frilly dresses that was influenced by the film "Letty Lynton".
No it should be me thanking you Nicole

This is the history of Kunert which I dug out from the web

The story behind the above question,
For over 6 years I kept looking in charity or thrift shops for that vintage bargain without any joy until yesterday.
When I come across 3 pair of stockings crumpled up in cellophane packers without any label in a basket along with number of more modern ones,
I shoo realized these were vintage, most likely fully fashion and seamed but could not really tell, any way I took the risk and decided to buy them and asked the price , 50 each pair or about a $1.
When the lady was putting them in a bag one of the welts flap over to reveal the cc41 stamp, at home they turned out to be 1 pair of silk stockings (kunert) a pair of Charnos 1940 /50 with the cc41 and another pair of nylon maybe early 50's un branded.
All new brand new and two pair still attached to each other.
At the back of my mind I feel a little guilty that they are worth more than that, also none are not in my size so would not have bought them just to add to my collection because it's not about quantity more about diversity of the collection.

I did not know at the counter much about them at all apart from I has worked out by the look they were older than 1960 ,it was a risk but at that price not very much of one, the fun is finding a lable and going on line and seeing where they were made , then thinking how did they come to be in this back water of Europe.
Then I had a rought idea of a start and end date but not really where they would if in to that time line.
