Hello! I am new here. A mad search for this faded label brought me in from Google. Can anyone help with this brand? I thought it might say Matilda but can’t find anything with that name. It seems like the logo is a crown? Might be wrong there too tho. I would appreciate any help!

I wondered about St Michael too, but I the OP is right that it's a crown followed by first letter M.
Also, the logo on the back of the belt isn't necessarily the maker of the dress. I've seen these kind of logos on belts, and I think they refer to a brand that supplies the notions to make a self fabric covered belt. Not sure, but I've definitely seen belt backs with a logo and something like 'guaranteed washable' that was clearly just about the belt. Ie from a home seamstress or a dress maker.

I agree with the above comments that it is the belt maker's name stamped onto the belt. Is there perhaps a union label on an inside seam of this dress?
