I have a designer suit that is most likely from the 1940’s. It’s a Dorothy O’ Hara piece. I did look at the Label Guide to see if I have a match but this label is not one shown. Just looking for confirmation that I have the right decade, and would VFG like to use the photo to add to the collection of labels in the guide forum?

    Thank you!

It does look 40s to me but let’s see what others think. Fashion Forecast Inc was the name of her original company which she started in 1944 with her husband. It was subsequently renamed to Dorothy O’Hara Inc so I suspect later labels dropped the Fashion Forecast but but I haven’t found the exact year that happened.

We would love to add your label to the entry
