Label Info Help -Couture Helena

Hi Again,

I had this amazing piece come in with a label I can find little about. The garment appears to be made from indian material (the print appears indian?) and the owner claimed the material is sewn from real sterling silver thread.

I do not know the true origins of the piece and cannot find info on the designer. I suspect a small high end boutique somewhere in the world? There is a modern label Helena Couture, but I am not sure if they are related?

It's from Athens, Greece and yes does appear to be a metallic brocade. Not sure about the silver threading though.

I'm not sure if the writing in the print is Indian, (sanskrit or could be Persian or something other than those)

I am sure others will be along to help out too.

Looks 50s to me and it is definitely gorgeous!

Gorgeous ensemble! I would say the motif is Persian - the writing looks like Arabic writing, but I associate these kinds of motifs more with Persia/Iran.
