Speaking of lace ... check out this gorgeous dress that VFG member Kerry Taylor will be auctioning off Dec. 10 in London. It's described as Irish crochet, so technically, is it not lace? Experts weigh in? Date 1905 - 1910. HERE is the catalog for the auction.
