Lace Museum in Berkeley

There is a small lace museum in Berkeley that is just wonderful if you are going to in northern Ca. during the holidays. Lacis Museum has an exhibit of tape laces from the 17th-21st c.

The collection was started by the late Kaethe Kliot and the Museum is owned by her husband Jules. To enter, you go through the store which is a treat all by itself.

The current exhibit will be on display until 3 February. Claire

Great to know, Claire, thanks. I'm from the East Bay and get down there a couple times a year. Won't make the current exhibit but will certainly keep it in mind for my next trip.

Very curious about the door, too!
