Lace Purse

I have this adorable little purse, but I have no idea what period its from. Any help?

There are directions for crocheting these types of things in 1910s women's magazines like Ladies Home Journal. I have one in the collection that came with a positive date of 1916 - it was a Christmas gift from a daughter to her mother. There are earlier, Victorian versions too, but they aren't open lacework like this, they are tighter and usually knitted rather than crocheted. BTW - when these were used, you would wrap your coins, key, face powder inside a hankie first and then put it into this purse - although sometimes they are lined so you don't have to do that.
