What a fun label!

I agree with Suzanne--60s. In the thumbnails, the brown trim looks like lucite (which was a standard trim for rattan bags at the time)--what a surprise to see that it's actually gator (whether real, faux, or embossed I can't tell!)

I'm no help with the label either, though I have a vague memory of another "oo7" item being posted about here (?) Guess it was an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the James Bond movies with Western audiences.

In the 60s there was a bunch of Mid Century Modern rattan furniture they labeled 007s, maybe it was a trend *smile*
