Lady's Pride granny square purse/tote? 70's?

This bag screams 70's at me, any thoughts? The dark yarn is a true navy, looks blackish in the pics. Also wondering if I should call this a tote. It measures 15" square.Thanks

sure, tote is a fine description. i'd also agree that it looks 70s, or even really late 60s. i actually had an aunt who would tote her crochet/knitting in a similar sort of bag; she carried it with her everywhere, would work on it whenever she had to sit and wait for her kids.
