Needing some clarification, history or any sort of information on how to identify "lambswool" fabric tags.
I have a plaid tartan scarf with no designer label however it does have a fabric tag affixed("adhered"??,, Not stitched) to it, which is white with blue lettering :
"Lambswool" (cursive)
"100% WOOL"
"MADE IN ITALY"
Is there a way to differentiate the copious amounts of Lambswool fabric tags to determine the designer or manufacturer? After endless research, I've noticed that there are tons of different looking fabric tags stating the material content contains Lambswool , for instance the lettering shape, size or even color inwhich the word "lambswool" is written in differs greatly between designers.
Please let me know if you can be of any help I have attached pictures of the scarf and the tag.
Blessings

You're absolutely right that there are tons of similar labels out there, and I am afraid that this is not likely to help you identify a maker. The fact that the label is not stitched on makes me think newish vintage (maybe 1990s). If it was made for a major label, I would expect that you'd see that name on the label.

I agree with Maggie. The pattern also looks a little reminiscent of Burberry's Nova Check, which was copied everywhere in the 90s and early 00s. The manufacturer might have wanted to produce something similar-ish looking, but not so similar (or a downright copy) as to get them into hot water.

Yep that was what I was thinking about the non-stitched label if it was high-end luxury designer it would have sketched more than likely I know it's not Burberry because the double Red line and Burberry Nova pattern only has one red line thank you for your help blessings
