Lanvin evening gown-From when? Authentic?

Trying to figure out when this dress was made. I can't find any examples of the Lanvin label that are the same size and shape as this one, 2"x2.5" black on white. In addition to the care tag in French and English, there's a small tag in Japanese.
Matte black acetate column dress, fully lined in silk chiffon, with sheer black silk chiffon cape and train attached. YKK zipper on the side. 80s or 90s? Any opinions would be appreciated!

I remember similar dresses to this style about '96, and I would expect Lanvin to be fashion forward so it might be a bit earlier but I think mid '90s is probably safe for this one.
