Lanvin label question

hello. I m wondering about this label that is on a strapless pleated linen minidress I recently acquired. Does this mean it is a sample dress? Do you think the 80 at the end references the year? And lastly, is this white Lanvin label definitely from the 80s or can it be later?

I think the label is just a sort of inventory label not necessarily a sample label.

I have seen labels like this in dresses from smaller French designer labels - from the 80s.
