lanvin question

hello
I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion in pricing this Lanvin shirt dress? it does have the Lanvin mark all over so I did think it would fetch a few more dollars, as some peop love to show off their labels.
I was looking on ebay and I am a bit confused with value of vintage Lanvin, there are alot of new items on there that are high end. I was thinking of going for a 'pie in the sky' price , seeing as the dress is branded (so to speak)and see how it goes..what do you girls think?

Item does have the union made label..workers of america..would you say early 70's?

Is it silk polyester. Label??? Its probally 70's..Its pretty conservative for Lanvins shirtdresses

It does have the Lanvin label,
I cannot find fabric contents, but deff poly as says machine wash.
I will try to post a close up.

sorry I had remove the link as it had personal info attatched

here is close a close up.

lol, sexy does sell! and with the dress being conservative as 'dareuc' mentioned, I thought it needed some help from my silver manni with the perfect boobs.
It is sooo hard to judge what people are looking for, some of the newer Lanvin and purses/shoes, run in the hundreds and thousands.
ps: with the Lanvin skirt did you start it at a reasonable rate? or a price you would desire to be worth your while.

I've got a Lanvin shirtdress, slightly earlier, and I admit I have been shoving it to the back of the rail as I'm not sure what to price it at!
I think in a case like this you just have to decide how much you would be hapy to accept and start fairly near there, or just do a buy it now (if selling on ebay of course)

Hi,
I just sold an even more conservative Lanvin silk shirt dress (even has the little neck bow tie!) in my Ruby Lane shop for $85.00, and was delighted to get it! I pitched it as a 'Working Girl' dress, and it flew out...yet I have a vintage Escada HOT eyelash beaded skirt and an Anne Fogarty cocktail dress, mint condition, that are barely getting a look...go figure. The late '70s-early '80s seem to be coming on strong in our shop.
Happy Sales To You,
PJ*
