late 50s or 60s? dating help and term for construction of this Dress set

HI everyone, two questions...

1. Is this set late 50s early mid or late 60s?

2. Are there other terms for this chiffon overlay treatment?

I don't know if there is a name for that chiffon over taffeta or satin treatment, but it was hugely popular 1959-1961, so it's right on the cusp of thes two decades.

Yes, I agree with Jonathan, perhaps sneaking a little more into the early '60s rather than late '50s.
