Hi any Laura Ashley lovers, I have a dress which I haven’t seen the label before. Just trying to date the dress, has anyone else seen this one before, many thanks

May we see the whole dress, please?
Notable on your label is the single-line oval, which seemed to be used mostly in the 1970s. This is also supported by the the "All Cotton" wording... from before the days that percentages were required for fabric content.
But if we could see the dress itself, that would help with dating, too.

Potentially late 70’s through to 80’s. The bramble appears in 1972 and the single line oval was used certainly in 1981 and I think later into the 80’s too.

the real clincher for a 70’s Laura Ashley piece is where it states ‘’made in Carno’ or ‘Made in Wales’ on the label or a label with very thick bold black ‘Laura Ashley’ (with no other writing or symbols etc.

we’d have to see the whole dress to be more accurate. The style of the 70’s and 80’s are often easy to spot as there was quite a style change in those decades.
