Leather pants label

Hi there,

I'm just a vintage lover without any knowledge at all, so I'm sorry should my question be quite 'stupid' to post over here. Anyway, today I purchased this high wasted leather pants in a secondhand store (1). The label says GAP (2) but of course I never thought it was the real one. Now I was just wondering why it says 'GAP' in another logo, while it isn't GAP. It has a label that says 'shell: genuine leather' and 'made in England'. So I don't think it's just a cheap plastic copy? Just another brand with the same name or not old at all?

Those are great! The Gap has been around since 1969

That would be pretty crazy because they've only cost me 1 euro, wow!

Just wondering because I couldn't find the specific label of this pants anywhere online.

They look vintage to me! 70s-80s. Can you upload a larger picture of the trousers themselves please? (and rotated, thank you kindly)
