Leopard hat?? Need to date...please help!

I purchased a bag of vintage hats (most with labels and features that made them easy to date) all from 1940s to 1960s...This is the only one that I am unsure about. The only label is the union label...can anyone help me date this??

Hi,

It looks like 1960s, judging by the type of faux fur fabric used. I cannot tell more from the photo. I personally do not use Union labels for dating my hats, but some folks do that, and I know there are some label resources where you can check the numbers and the range of dates used. But for that hat I think you can safely say 1960's. I have not seen that type of faux fur on hats prior to 1960s.
