Leslie Fay Dress help dating?

This is A Leslie Fay Original Dress, I believe it is Rayon though it is very sheer almost see-through, has bows at the top of the sleeves and pleat tucks at the shoulders and Faux Pearl Metal Shank buttons with fabric loops down front, a gathered waistline and it has a full twirl hem, usually I would think 50's but the fabric design reminds me of late 40's. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Not really sure about the date. I would have guessed 50s too but late 40s is not out of the question either.

It is adorable!! I love the old Leslie Fay dresses. Could it be a cotton voile fabric?

I am sure someone who knows more about fabric will come along but really just want to comment on the major cuteness factor of your dress.
