Leslie Fay for Lord & Taylor?

Sorry I have no pictures but I saw a Leslie Fay for Lord & Taylor dress today at a thrift store and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Like when it might have been made?
 
It's hard to say without a photo.

You might want to take a look at the label resourse here and see if any of the labels look familiar.

I came across a 2002 article in the NY Times that made mention of Leslie Fay still being tied in with Lord & Taylor up to the previous year.
 
Karen has some good advice. I didn't realize that Leslie Fay made clothes for Lord & Taylor. That's a good piece of info to file away for future use.
