I've seen that Levi's L label identified as 1970s but don't know how true that is.
Hopefully, others will chime in with more info.

Every Levi's piece I have seen with this logo has been on a very 70s - 80s item. Like, identifiably Urban Cowboy era. Not sure if I currently have any for an example, but I can have a look. Yours looks late 70s - mid 80s. That particular color denim.
