Lilli Ann suit advice

I am so happy to be apart of this lovely group! This is my first post. I just acquired this lovely Lilli Ann Suit. I looked in your Label resource an it is telling me it is from around 1946. Did Adoldph Schuman make Lilli Ann Suits in 1934 ? This suit seems older than 1946.

Is there a reason that you think this could be from '34? The fabric and style look good for late '40s to me. If you can show a pic of the skirt that will help, as the styles differ between the two decades.

Hi there,
I am new at collecting Lilli Ann. I just had never seen this style (cut) before. The skirt goes to my ankle. It is pencil style.

Hello! What a great suit. It dates from the early 1950s, specifically 1951. That style was done in a few different colors and patterns - I've seen polka dots as well as a sort of reptile-type pattern, but this is the first time I've seen your combination. Love it
