I have had this Lilli Ann sitting in my closet for almost a year. Wanting help with date. Im guessing 60s but unsure. It does have a nylon zipper and a pinked liner. The fabric feels like polyester. Im wondering if there is any chance of soaki g it in cool water as an attempt to get the yellowing out? Or is this a "never attempt this at home garment"? Thanks for any help. I am not saying you should but I personally would soak it in Restoration. At least from the photos it looks like quite a bit of yellowing so I don’t think it’s very wearable as is. Could be just what I see in the photos though. You are definitely risking the lining shrinking at a different rate than the outside fabric but I find that fixable a lot more than having an item with lots of grime on the outside. Again, that’s just me. If there is an inside seam with a bit of extra fabric you could try to soak a small piece to see how it reacts before you commit to soaking the whole thing

The thing that I have found with even 60s reds is they might color bleed. had a horrible color bleeding situation on a 60s or 70s dress that was otherwise beautiful.
