Hey everyone
I have been living in home remodelling chaos for some time now but one great thing is finding beautiful items I forgot I had!

was wondering if anyone had any ideas about these (below)?

two small pretty trinket boxes, only really large enough for a small piece of jewellery each.
They are brass and have suede lining with pretty animal decorations to the lids. They are stamped ‘Zorala? Mexico’

I bought them maybe 12 years ago at a Carboot fair, I believe they are quite a lot older but can’t place them in a timeline. Love them to bits, they are keepers just be great to have any more info.

So I found a nice little research hole to dive into. Found out that these little pretties are by Enrique Zavala and they most likely date to mid century (50s/60s). I had no idea how valuable they are! I’m keeping them though, they will sit with my gorgeous little P.Chenet Bronze of Retriever and pups. Going to find the best spot for my treasures
