Littman fur coat question

My friend inherited this fur coat from her aunt and gave it to me. She thinks it is mink and the "JLB" initials inside are not her aunt's initials. Can anyone identify the type of fur and what the labels mean? Google requests come up empty. Thanks for your help.

The JLB initials are the previous owner's and if not your aunt's then the person she got it from. Maybe she purchased it 2nd hand... or from the furrier. Furriers were known to sell items left in fur vault past a certain amount of time. It cannot help you identify much about the coat because they were something a furrier added to the coat at time of purchase. Standard.

Oh, and the label... Littman Furs is a fur company in Milwaukee. Arthur Littman. I don't have personal experience with the store but have seen the label. If you google around, you'll see more coats from them. I think this one is 70s but without seeing it on a model or mannequin can't quite see its true shape.
