Lizzie\'s done it again

I'm reading A Dash of Daring (bio of Carmel Snow).

I was surprised to read that Geoffrey Beene started work at Harmay--an inexpensive dress co. so I had great plans to post this new info on the list.

Harmay is already on the Labels List with a short bio by Lizzie. Claire
 
I learn more from member's blogs and incredibly generous input and answers to questions than I could ever hope to by trudging through google, books, articles, etc. on my own~

This place sooooooo rocks!
 
I'll fifth that. Go, Lizzie!

I read A Dash of Daring last year and was riveted. Totally fascinating story about a very complex character. Was amused to read about her strongly favoring Balenciaga in her own wardrobe but "wouldn't be caught dead in a Lilli Ann."
