Lofthouse - NIgel Lofthouse or imposter?

Hello Everyone, I have this bag with no identifying tags in it. The only identifier is the snap at the top which has LOFTHOUSE stamped in it. I have searched for Lofthouse handbags and only Nigel Lofthouse comes up but it seems so out of character for this 1970's designer. Any thoughts? KK

I would say that Lofthouse is the supplier of the metal hardware snap.

A Nigel Lofthouse bag would be signed, and as well, be elaborately stenciled and painted, etc. so I agree with your feeling that this is not one of his.
