Hi guys,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!!

I'm going to London in January and will have a Sunday to myself and am desperate for some good vintage......is Portobello market on sundays?

I know Spitalfields is on a Sunday but I wasn't a big fan when I went there last year..

...any markets to recommend that happen on sundays??!!
 
Hi Theres Camden Stables market on sunday but not Portabello, i like Lost and Found shop and the Vintage market inside the old horse hospital,best to get there early 10ish and walk down from Camden tube,thou they close the tube in Camden if its busy and you have to walk to Mornington Cresent which is a bit of a hike.

I don't know what Sunday you're free, but if you get the chance I recommend the vintage fashion fairs - I got some great bargains last time I was there.

There are also lots of other markets around the place. It's been a while since I lived there so any information I have (Brick Lane was a good Sunday market then) will be out of date. Hopefully some Londoners will happen along soon.

Portabello Rd. is Sat. but the largest dealer has closed. Bermondsey is Friday but it won't have a lot of textiles. I did buy two Erte's there. C

Im off this weekend so hopefully I'll get some pieces...nod doubt I'll be asking you questions if I do!! :P
