Looking for a term for the sleeves of this Jean Allen Maxi dress and dating confirmation

Hi There,
Last one for the day.
1. Is this a late 1970s or an early 80s maxi dress? Any thoughts?
2. Is there a name for the very wide balloon-y type sleeve....almost choir/church robe-ish?
3. I've never seen a care label that specifies a dry cleaner....was that a common thing at some point?

It is difficult to see the shape of the sleeves in your photos. But by your description, I'm thinking bishop sleeves

Your sleeves remind me of the ones on one of the dresses Florence Welch bought from me - a very full bishop sleeve that is wider at the base (as Hollis says, a dolman) into an empire line waist.

This dress is definitely late '60s and was made by a Melbourne designer but yours looks more modern but not by much: could still be late '60s going into the early '70s.

I hadn't heard of Florence...thanks for putting her on my radar Nicole, so cool and what a great dress, perfect colour for her. In looking her up I find she really seems to love the dramatic big sleeves, they are so fun. Thanks everyone.
